One of the fascinating features of the AG CONNECT Expo is the wide range of displays by OEMs. The show provides a global platform for the companies to network with manufacturers of all stripes.

Nicole Feducia and Ursula Bonfiglioli spoke with me this morning about their company's popular components. The Italian firm, Ognibene Power, with U.S. offices in Charlotte, North Carolina, will be celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, Bonfiglioli told me.

The company manufactures valves and steering units for tractors, forklifts, earth-moving equipment and other machinery. Boom and bucket cylinders are another of the company's lines.

You can find Ognibene systems in many of the equipment brands here on the floor, including Deere, Case New Holland, Kubota and AGCO, she said.

Among its features, the Ognibene plunger steering cylinders are "zero leakage to avoid stick slip...." Working pressures are up to 180 bar, with operation termperatures ranging from minus 30 degrees C to plus 90 degrees C.

The company offers customized versions of its equipment for manufacturers, Bonfiglioli added.

Stop by the Ognibene booth right next to Successful Farming's and learn a little something about the inner workings of your tractors and other machinery.
