Nope, I wasn't using the facility at the time I dropped it. It fell out of a pocket like those on a hoody sweatshirt - the slash pockets when I was zipping it up, and took a bad bounce.
I read this week that 75% of people use the cell phone in the latrine. I believe it.
I never take out insurance on mine, but maybe I need to follow your brother's example
