Anhydrous Ammonia

Still doing a little information gathering before I start shopping for some type of fertilizer rig.  I haven't used NH3 on our farm for nearly 20 years, just didn't care for the hazards involved with handling it.  Other than safety, someone told me at one time or another that the use of NH3 had a few negative side effects regarding to soil health.  Killing of earth worms was one impact I believe he mentioned.  I am starting my second year of 100% no-till and I want to avoid any operation that may damage soil structure.  It seems to be the least expensive method of applying N.  The use of it makes financial sense, but are there any truths to the myths I've been told.
