Re: Dicamba damage

every acre of beans has this damage in this region

5 years ago it was occasional ,,,, maybe 1 field out of 10  and later in the season.... now it comes early and

Now it is guaranteed.

-------------

Five years back.  In the middle of the drought, kochia emerged as the winner of the drought "hard to kill" toughness contest..... Panic ensued and  applications of 20+ oz of dicamba in feb. and Mar. to fend off the kochia as it germinated.... It worked buy suddenly we expanded the application of dicamba in volume by 200% across the area.  Dicamba was claimed to be in short supply and prices doubled.

We have more beans and cotton than ever before.  could this be a soil residual issue?

It is a sandier soil region and a high PH region with low organic matter %.
