Faust- what is going on south of I-80 in Iowa? You guys are paying $3,450/acre for Glacial Till Soil? LOL!!!!
Are you guys raising goats down there? Yea, found this farm sale pretty funny. It has to be to a Des Moines Doctor so he has some hunting land. Who else would pay $3,450/acre for Glacial Till soil? Well, we now know what Iowa Hunting land goes for south of Interstate Highway 80 in Iowa. And actually not a bad investment, you could probably have gotten this land for $250/acre in 1986 and now it brings $3,450/acre, almost a 14x increase in value for worthless Iowa farmland. I like how they say it is a "Rolling" Grain Farm, the only grain you could grow on it is the "Weed" type!!! LOL
Soil Association: Loess ridge - Glacial Till SW Iowa
Topography: Level to rolling grain and pasture farm
