Hedge farmland risk with ETF

They`re talkin` about a exchange traded fund that may be a combination of interest rates and commodity prices to hedge a drop in land prices http://www.dtnprogressivefarmer.com/dtnag/common/link.do?symbolicName=/free/news/template1&product=/...   Well, they could start it and see if anyone buys it.   I`ve often thought of trading "farmland rent" on the board of trade, however there would eventually be a local "basis" of a tenant having to clear snow off the landlord`s driveway and water his plants while they`re on vacation :smileyhappy:
