Re: Interesting Study from Purdue on GMO's

Hi Kay - Was wondering about you all the other day when the storms went threw your area - hope all is well your way -  I agree with ya - The problem with todays ag is there are just a few of us doing the deal - what ? like less than 2 % that really farm - then the rest are just letting there minds run wild with how we do these - Like GMO's = Genetically modified Organism - Organism - to me the key word - I truly believe that word is the problem child here - like as we are changing a organism - when in fact - we are taking a living organism from the same type plant that has a disease resistance - which is " Natural " to that plant and adding it to the non resident plant that may have a better yield advantage ,  not something we made in a hidden building at Area 51 .

The major players in our occupation , like the National Corn and Bean Ass. Has did - well -- nothing short of a pizz poor job of telling our story or there's - Or how about Monsanto - BASF - Sengenta - Pioneer - either ! What a story they could tell - like with the gmo's for bug protection in corn or beans - Just how many millions of gallon's of insecticide we have NOT used - The same go's for plant disease and fungicides -  - yet - the uneducated don't know this - other than we are mad scientists or buy from them : )  . Example is one poster on here - Nox posted he was not a where  of this problem - He must not farm is all I can say - yet side stepped the article with it was Purdue Versus Cornell -  ( Nox must be from NY ) now  that was funny - then it leads to the toll road  - with a lmao . I find this funny because - on here - or any other site - its hard to go over a few post that some way - politics don't come into play - What I can't believe - is that somebody has not posted that it was Bush's fault  lol

Well - it's to pretty to be in the house today - with rain everyday next week , So I think that the dog and I  should take a nice long walk .

Everybody have a great Sunday

Ken
