Re: Roads, bridges etc.

How are the roads in PA and Wa ???
Those two states have the highest fuel
Taxes in the nation

All I know is I've been fighting tooth and
Nail the past 2 years to get 2 loads of gravel
For our road from the township.

The county engineer agree that it's needed,
But the township is the one to provide the
Material. One township member told me the
Road does not exist, then said we were not in
The township.

The gravel is $5 a yard, and 7 miles or less
Away.
It must be fixed

$150 for lawyer to draw up papers, $163.50 to file
And on and on.

I figure cost of a load is $130

Problem is at least $125 to get a truck to
The pit in the first place.

Plus, the township has a mil levy for road
Maintenance....last time we got anything
On our road was 20 years ago.
