I just saw a piece that's in the pipeline here that I whipped up for the site: 11 tips to trim your power bill 

So, what do you do on your place to save $ on energy costs? We use those compact fluorescent lightbulbs, though it took me several years to get accustomed to them. But, how about the engine block heater timer idea in the slideshow here. Would that work at your place? Could have huge energy savings, but would it work to just run it a couple of hours a day? 

Anyway, thought it was good information and am curious to see what else is going on out there to save a buck or 2 on the power bill!
