CX-1 that 6to10 day hasn't  been worth much most of the summer we've been shaded in the above cat the whole time it was cool for 3 weeks and now that's been hot for the last 2 weeks we were shaded above normal again. That whole time since July 12 only 1 tenth of inch has fallen. Maybe now with below precip forcasted we will get some toad stranglers LOL

Re: Great....

i think Buckley was sayin' it was supposed to get cold (not sure if he implied frost) the 11th or 12th??

the 8-14 shows a blue (colder than avg) glob centered over IN, OH, E. IL? BUT it's not quantitative.

NDf,

i hear you, but it's been more on tgt - temperature-wise

nws had this heat pegged 10 days ago--it's been more wrong (erratic) on precip.

jonny - i'd think 10 more days - soy

20-25 corn.-----should qualify that - the plants that survive this week, esp soy.

Re: 6-10 day trending drier still

Like many others, I had the feeling, during the cool August, that we were in good shape moisture wise. There were a few days that I found myself wishing it would stop raining and that the sun would come out. Then I took a look at the 9 day history on my remote rain gauge and there was nothing over a half a tenth on any one day. Now, our later maturity later planted beans are looking rough. I'm hoping they were far enough along to cut the yield to drastically. Dc beans... Hope it rains soon.

Meant to say NOT cut yield. Can't find edit on iPhone.
