Bean Traders

[ Edited ]

guys, it looks like we have a leading diagonal going on - on the daily......todays high marking #3 impulse.....tomorrow will be day 14 cat..........after #4 correction is over in general range of todays low, #5 should exhaust just above 1500 (near high Dec 17) within a few days---where it will be a low risk area to scale in shorts for a contrarian swing trade.

happy trading.

yesterdays rain event of 1-2 in will help the subsoil/drought conditions across MO, IL..........but have you seen the 6-14 day--------quite a lot of rain probability eastern half and hot too. what month is this? what planet are we on??

trivia question: when is the last time US corn yield has dropped 3 yrs in-a-row (before last 3)?

Re: Bean Traders

If the sub-soil is partially frozen, maybe you have partial repletion?  Just guessing.  In Central Kansas, we don't have much frost anymore.  Most of it left the ground 2 weeks ago.  Temps the next week are forecast to be near 60F, that should take care of any remaining frost.

Re: Bean Traders

top portion is what is frozen or at least frosty...........whats below is what needs it most.........

theres a reason they had flood watches and warnings out for this last event..........it was because the soil profile was partially frozen and couldnt take in the water..........IT ALL RAN OFF, thus flooding...........

Yep!  We have about 20 inches of frost in the ground, if there is enough moisture to  create frost.  Got my info from a fella who builds decks on new homes in DSM. Adios Amigos. John

Re: Bean Traders

20" of frost is about what we have and the snow is gone with cold weather called for the next week. The local coffee shop gurus are saying we need rain for the wells. My reply is until the frost is gone any rain goes to the ocean. Yes in March we need rain and warm weather to clear the frost but until then it  is a mute point (eastern Ontario).

Re: Bean Traders

The rain in Ohio mostly soaked in....not much run off over here.  Tile lines are running.

Good point MT - the temps are all over the map, but it's probably more accurate that MOST of that precip did run off before soaking much. we will see if the 6-14 of good rain% and warm temps all the way up through IL materialize.

  thanks for bringing that up.

CX

Yep day 14. . 18-22 trading days should catch this swing. May rest for a couple of days. Always hate the weekends when the market is up there.

I did sell some physical inventory today due to the weekend and the world is becoming a very scary place.

They keep pumping the stocks , afraid how that will end.
