Agroconsult has just released new predictions about the 2012/13 corn and soybean crop. Respectively, it will be 75 million tons and 84.2 million tons. In early January, their prediction was 74.7 million and 84 million. Analysts say that the weather have helped of the Brazilian regions, with the exception of Mato Grosso do Sul and Bahia states.
The soybean harvest in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul has just started. If things go well down here, estimates are likely to go up - again.
