Brazilian farmers exported 3.05 million tons, just in August. The folks down there still have 13.8 million tons of corn stocks from the 2012/2013 season. As of September, the total domestic consumption in the country is estimated at 52.3 million tons (45 million for animals, approximately), and 18.7 million tons exported. got to have a min reserve, and therefore a negligible amout left to export or use internally for 5-7 months......if i'm understanding correctly.
i'm thinking story was meant to spin the exact opposite of what it's actually revealing. backfire?
