Where is my choice?
Over the lights outta the park ...Home Run
Many are going to see more income, whether it comes from a decent crop or the high levels of HP Crop insurance.

Like having one foot in hot water and the other in ice water. On average it won't be too bad but you won't be comfortable with either one.
When you go through your better corn you will still be thinking about that crappy corn in that other spot. There is no way you can average it together and get a satisfactory result because you are still thinking what might have been.

Some fields more depressing than last year...maybe most. I would have to say, begrudgingly, that I agree with Kraft-t. Even a blind squirrel gets an acorn once in a while Don ![]()
Lucius Annaeus Seneca
As civil rulers, not having their duty to the people duly before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow-citizens, the people are confirmed by the next article in their right to keep and bear their private arms.
— Tench Coxe (1755–1824)

I just know that an 80 field with 10 acres drowned out really damages the average yield of the whole field. No matter how good the corn is on the good acres , my mind focuses in on that crappy ten acres.

I chose 'other'.
For me, walking my fields as best I can, I think this year's harvest will be like riding a roller coaster, while blindfolded.
Or maybe bungee jumping with an untested rubber band?
