Floor Talk June 20

At the close:

 

The July corn futures contract settled 2 3/4 cents higher at $4.53.

 

The Dec. corn futures ended 4 1/2 cents higher at $4.52.

 

 

 

The July soybean futures contract settled 5 cents lower at $14.15.

 

The Nov. soybean futures closed 4 1/4 cents higher at $12.31.

 

 

 

July wheat futures closed 8 cents lower at $5.85.

 

 

 

The July soymeal futures contract settled $8.00 per short ton higher at $459.20. The July soyoil futures closed $0.48 lower at $40.13.

 

 

 


In the outside markets, the NYMEX Brent crude oil is $0.15 per barrel lower, the dollar is higher and the Dow Jones Industrials are 25 points higher.

At mid-session:

The July corn futures contract is trading 1 1/2 cents higher at $4.52.

The Dec. corn futures are trading 3 1/2 cents higher at $4.51.

 

The July soybean futures contract is 16 cents lower at $14.04.

The Nov. soybean futures are trading 5 3/4 cents lower at $12.21.

 

July wheat futures are 5 cents lower at $5.88.

 

The July soymeal futures contract is trading $4.70 per short ton lower at $446.50. The July soyoil futures are trading $0.17 lower at $40.44.

 


In the outside markets, the NYMEX Brent crude oil is $0.37 per barrel higher, the dollar is higher and the Dow Jones Industrials are 39 points higher.

Corn is up 3 cents, soybeans are down 6, and wheat down slightly.

 

--USDA announced Friday that an 'unknown' buyer picked up 150,000 mt of new-crop soybeans.

The July corn futures contract is trading 4 cents lower at $4.46.

 

The Dec. corn futures are trading 3 cents lower at $4.44.

 

 

The July soybean futures contract is 12 cents lower at $14.08.

 

The Nov. soybean futures are trading 7 cents lower at $12.19.

 

 

July wheat futures are 5 cents lower at $5.88.

 

 

The July soymeal futures contract is trading $3.80 per short ton lower at $447.40. The July soyoil futures are trading $0.24 lower at $40.37.

 

 

 


In the outside markets, the NYMEX Brent crude oil is $0.56 per barrel higher, the dollar is higher and the Dow Jones Industrials are 15 points higher.

Early calls: Corn is seen 2-4 cents lower, soybeans 10-12 cents lower, and wheat 3-5 cents lower.

Trackers:
Overnight grain, soybean markets=Trading lower.

Brent Crude Oil=$0.56 per barrel higher.
Dollar= Higher.

Wall Street=Seen slightly higher.

World Markets=Europe stocks were higher, Asia/Pacific stocks were higher.

I'm hearing that Monday's Crop Condition Report could show deterioration in the good/excellent rating, due to northern Corn Belt flooding. Dan Looker, witnessed the flooding in Northwood, North Dakota, Friday. Take a look:
