Floor Talk March 20

Soybeans and corn were higher overnight as bargain hunters jump in to start the week -- for now, at least,  anytime beans are in the $10 range you'll see investors looking to get in when prices are low. Beans were up about 6 cents and corn was up about 2 cents. Wheat gained 2-4 cents overnight. Money managers have seemingly fallen out of love with corn, pushing contracts to a net-short position, or betting that prices will fall instead of rise, for the first time since January. Net-long positions, or bets that prices will rise, in soybeans fell to the lowest level since October.

Here's what happened overnight:

Brent Crude Oil = 0.8% lower.

West Texas Intermediate Crude Oil = 0.9% lower.

Dollar = down 0.1%.

Wall Street = U.S. stock futures lower in pre-market trading.

World Markets = Global stocks lower as oil shifts lower, dollar pares losses
