At 12-Noon:

Informa releases updated 2014 U.S. Acreage Estimates:

Corn=93.029 million vs. a previous estimate of 81.2 million.

Soybeans=81.204 million vs. a previous estimate of 81.264 million.

All-Wheat= 56.64 million, up from 56.15 million last year.

What do you folks think of the estimates? Corn too high, soybeans not high enough?

Tim Hannagan, Walsh Trading Inc., says export news is messing with the corn market. "Corn is trading export news. Yesterday, Egypt bought 340,000 metric tons of U.S. corn and we rallied. Today, China rejected a shipment containing unauthorized bio-gentic corn. So, we're down," he says.
