The relief rally is on. Everything is OK again. No need to panic. Move along, move along.
Now for the truth. As we wait and watch the theatre in Europe gets uglier by the minute. How will Germany and Russia react? Who knows. At least it's spring in Chicago and the roads were a little emptier, the trains a little lonelier.
Wheat, corn and beans all easier this morning news of bigger plantings and slowing feed use. Any excuse will do I guess.
World equity prices are higher as they are in the States as well. Gold is hanging around $1600 and oil is firm at .50 cents higher. The Euro is once again rooted to 1.309 and the Japanese Yen at 94.77.
Economic figures today are thin on the ground but this week will be a busy one Durable Goods and GDP.
Here's to hoping the snow melts soon.
