Patriotism

[ Edited ]

I'm not an American, but I am moved by the patriotism of your country. It is infectious, as you cannot help but feel as you listen to these high school students.  I would have loved to have been there.

My apologies for the "off topic' post, but sometimes our focus on the "markets" consumes too much of us.

Re: Patriotism

Yep. A thousand people that can sing as opposed to 40k that can't sing in unison. The gal that sang it at the super bowl was outstanding as well.

I'll bet you that OH CANADA! would have stirred your heart as well.

I would like to add that this was in my home state of Kentucky, gives me chills every time I listen to it.

Re: Patriotism

Canuk5,

Wanted to come back to this and  Thank you...

I think it is residue from the immigration and tough times and challenges of the last century.  I am afraid recent immigration is not going to be followed with that level of committment and pride.  We will see..

Any how  ------ Thanks neighbor.
