Re: Possible production haircuts coming

Our tests have shown that there is a legitamite improvement in stay green under stress with the drought tollerant corns.

But we have seen no yield improvement..... Just healthier looking poor yields.

Primarily testing Pioneer varieties

LMAO.  Abnormally dry in SE Illinois????   Oh yeah....then what is the standing water in all of my fields and all local rivers and streams at flood stage mean then?   hmmm?    Inquiring minds want to know.   Print out a copy of that drought map and put it in the bathroom....use accordingly.

Re: Possible production haircuts coming

Well, what the hell?  Everybody`s too wet to walk a duck, no where are we gonna get a yield cutting drought?  Even good ol dry Kansas is flooding, southern Illinois that is usually always a day away from disking their crop under ...this really sucks.  Rain makes corn, looks like another year going broke running the wheels off the truck making the extra trips to town.

What about the saying "plant in the mud and the crop is a dud"?  Shallow roots and a drought comes in June and fries the crop, that`s our last hope before the axman comes.
