Well we've got 100 percent chance of rain here tonight. After this wind and heat it will be welcome, if it materializes. Since April 17 7.6 inches have fell here. None in June so far. Unfortunately it looks like it will be dissipating as the front get to the Mississippi river.

Ya, we have a 68% chance today here -- of .15 inches. That won't go far.....
All of a sudden I see 60% chances for three straight days next weekend. We will see how that pans out as we get closer.
I hate this time of year -- they set us up, then pull out the rug from under us....
But once we do get a good rain, it sounds like heaven falling on the roof!!!1

Where are you located? Here in central IA. a 80% .5" to .75" forecast. Time will tell. June is one of the wettest months and only a trace so far. I'm sure someone will pray for rain in church this morning.

We have only received 7 tenths for rain in the past five weeks. With the heat and wind, that 7 tenths is just enough to keep the crop alive. We will need plenty more to get that 166 bu they predict.
