The day after the report often gives a better sense of direction for the markets.

For instance, after the very bearish July report, corn bounced and closed near the highs for the day.  This lead corn higher for the following weeks.

In September, the day after the report was a sell-off and market slid for the remainder of the month.

It doesn't always indicate a trend... but it is something to watch.
