rain totals

Here in swampville, Iowa ... cool cloudy and corn going backwards on the bottoms, ok on hills/ high ground. .64 over the weekend. We need Sun.

NW Kansas 1.95 on the southern farm 2.50 on the northern one.

60% of the time, it works every time.

Re: rain totals

Please send some up to Northern Illinois tiger. Grass is turning brown already here. 1.8 total in May and less than 4 tenths so far in June. But wait perfect growing weather is imminent.........

Re: rain totals

We are flooded out down here in West Tennessee. We got over 9 inches Thursday. It washed away crops, culverts, and roads as well as flooded homes. It's rained everyday since then. We are totally saturated and everything just floods again when it rains. More rain again tonight and tomorrow. Our corn in the bottoms were waist high and now it's laying flat in a lot of places. We lost 4-5 inches of topsoil and a lot of our beans as well. Hope nobody gets this mess.

PNW trending too dry ....

..... and the outlook isn't encouraging. We don't 'lose' crops, we just have a decline in productivity.

.07 on Sunday, .7" last Wednesday. Still trying to reach the 1" mark in June. Lots in the forecast but I've seen that news before. The other side of Dayton has had more than plenty.

Re: rain totals

Glad your KS farm got a good drink.  The radar last evening for Western KS was rather impressive.

Climate change?:smileysurprised:  My chunk in Lane Co.  is closing in on 3" for June.  The milo is planted.  Here in CIA 2.38" for June, .54 Sat. and the low and high land corn looks the same.  Very good.

Re: rain totals

Right at 3/4" in my location of Kansas since last night. Not enough, but we'll take it.

Just for ECIN, gonna be so **bleep** muddy we won't be able to get anything done.
