WEEK WITH A RESURGENCE OF HOT AIR INTO THE STATE AND LITTLE THREAT
OF RAINFALL DURING THE WEEK.  IT WOULD SUGGEST AIR TEMPERATURES WELL
INTO THE 90S IF NOT LOWER 100S FOR A GOOD PORTION OF THE WEEK.
GIVEN THE INCREASING DRY CONDITIONS AND CORN POLLINATION COMING INTO
FULL SWING...THIS COULD PROVE QUITE PROBLEMATIC FOR IA SHOULD IT

Yes Mike, even if things look good in NCIA, I wouldn`t sell anything because we could go backwards pretty quickly.  They say it`ll hit 100° today and 80`s at night, this corn at 5, 6 foot and lush green takes alotta water.  Wayne was on the radio saying "it`s good that the ground is shaded" that`s true, but there`s a leaf shinkage factor involved if we don`t get this crop a drink pronto. Last Accuweather  25 day outlook had like 4/10ths, that won`t cut it, they had better be wrong or it could be a disaster here too.
