Leatherman

I like to carry a Leatherman tool on me whenever I'm out and about.  I had the old Super Tool for years and years.  Finally, I broke the lock on the blade in such a way that it not only didn't 'lock' and could close on a finger, but it would swing out open beyond the stop as well, making it extremely unsafe.  I was told they have a no hassle guarantee, so I figured what the heck.  I followed the directions on the Leatherman website, mailed it back to them (cost me under $4 for postage & the padded envelope).  I wasn't too optimistic, as the main blade lock was all screwed up, the screwdriver bits were twisted, and the pliers were all chewed up from cutting telephone wire in an emergency fence fix that would have involved cows in the corn had I left to get my linesman pliers.  Anyway, they sent them back, good as new (or replaced the tool with new) within a week.  In fact, I think I had the repaired/replaced tool in my hand exactly 6 days after I mailed it in, which is exactly twice as long as it took me to lose them.  I have their location narrowed down to maybe 80 acres of grass pasture LOL.

Anyway, good tool, great warranty, great service, forgetful old duffer for an owner.
