While capacity is a major factor when adding storage don't fail to plan the next several steps/stages of expansion.  Trucks never get shorter, combine capacity is not going to decrease, if we believe what seed companies tell us our yields "should" see exponential growth in the future.  It's all too evident in my area to see systems that were perfectly matched to the operation 15-20 years ago only to be essentially obsolete and nearly inaccessible today. 

The list of planning considerations is oftentimes seemingly endless but egress, power capacity, drainage, expansion potential are top of the list items
