Cruddy cough?

What sort of OTCmeds do you take for cough caused by sinus congestion? I can only tolerate Sudafed and its generic so long, due to rising BP. I have been coughing off and on - mostly n - for three months, since Winn got sick for the first time this fall.
No fever, no chest congestion anymore, just sinus drainage and coughing from that...any suggestions for a home remedy?
