Our discussion of health insurance gives me the notion that SF could do great service to farm families, by doing a feature on how to use the health insurance you've already got. Explain different types of coverage (HMO, PPO, etc.) and how a typical claim progresses, what to do with an atypical one.
It would be great to have an explanatiojn of the Explanation of Benefits, adn how doctors in a PPO agree to accept only what the company will pay. Sidebar in and out of network. Lots to learn. This is as important as finding coverage to start with, and lets you knwo which type best suits your family.
