I was thinking someone not holding in the brake as he started to roll my way. The model of car and his age, I doubt it was stick shift. I do drive stick on Jenna's Jetta, and reverse takes a little extra push and maneuver to get...plus, the car right up my rump kept me from taking evasive action. I think it being her car bothered me, more than if had been my Mazda.
