The tab for personal electronics is a high one...in my purse every time I walk out the door is a DROID that was probably $300-400, the $200 Kindle, and sometimes a $700 iPad. You don't think about it easily being $1000 or more.
Throw in a checkbook and a credit card that by itself can buy a very nice car, or several decent new ones, and I guess you can see why we jokingly call my bag "The Empire".
Farmers tend to talk farming wherever they go. I sometimes wonder if people in other occupations do this...anyone know if they do or not? Do house painters discuss thinner and drop cloths?
If you are tourng with a farm group, this ought to be what you expect to have happen. I have started telling out daughter that Winn will grow up thinking it is perfectly to talk about the farm at the table...and we sometimes forget that non-farmers find our conversations gross. About the only worse crowd are healthcare personnel....
