I love looking through the Successful Farming archives, at all the great covers from our early days. This morning, I put together a slideshow of my favorite springtime covers, ranging from 1909 to about 1945. I did a little research on the artists and some of the equipment. It's so interesting to see how things have changed ... the women were doing chores in dresses, dressed to the nines to go to town, etc. Take a look through these old covers and tell me which is your favorite! I'll include a photo of my favorite below. The farmer looks a little like Indiana Jones!
