Re: mouse

I sympathize with you on the varmints.  We seem to have them licked for now at Jenna's house, but  they have made inroads here.

I bait at both places, and have glue traps set out on both houses where sightings have occurred.  Only cught any here, though.

There is the one cat there, and she is a known good mouser.  We brought her inside when it got cold, right about Christmas.  I wish i has her twin here in Carolina.

I think perhpas the real difference is that I have stired food mich more secure,y there than here.  Anything that might darw a mouse's attention was put into sealed containers there, but I haven't been quite as well prepared here.

One of my first chores of the new year here is to clean out the pantry and toss anythihg that wasn't sealed up.  Not much loss, since almost everything is sealed here, too...just not everything.  I hsve learned my lesson.

I would have freaked out if a mouse had jumped onto my shoulder, too.  I wasn't laughing at you...you just told it in a way that was so funny, I couldn't help but laugh.  You really need to write these stories down for your grandkids.
