Well, we are back from our short little trip to WI. to the World Dairy Expo.  Ran into several friends from home area & show friends, along with visiting with vendors we were interested in.  And of course watched the cow shows, slept in, and ate waaay too much.  In my defense, I found two free ice cream tickets in my coat pocket when I got home!  LOL  Gave away two also.  It was good stuff tho!  LOL

Seemed like we were gone only overnight even tho it was a 3 day trip.  We've gotten pretty picky about who we visit with, where we go, etc. as we've aged so it was actually more enjoyable this year. 

Do you find yourself being selfish about your time?  DH is much more tolerant of visiting with guys who, in my opinion, are a waste of his time.  I mean some of the folks that stop for one thing or another here at the farm.  One old fellow can talk for an hour or more; I know he's hungry for another farm ear but we've been putting in way too many late nights here.  Where do you draw the line on kindness vs. your precious time?  Truthfully, I suppose I'm sometimes jealous as I'm the last one he visits with!

My DH will be in heaven for sure & I'll be looking up at him!
