Young people who probably spent much of their first 18 or so years preparing to apply for and were the accepted to West Point and then made the sacrifices and did the work to achieve Graduation and Commissioning.
Like nearly every campus in the developed world, with the notable exception of Liberty U, they’d been sent home, or away somewhere, to shelter.
The lot of them have been called back to the New York City area to go through Commencement because of the notoriety and “unimpeachable” qualities of the Commencement speaker.
