Re: 2020 Landslide

I did read the article you posted, albeit without the left wing lenses on my glasses. I am not going to dissect it and point out the many unsubstantiated wanderings into areas of opinion, except to say that the author could sit down with fellow NYT writer/contributer Dr. Krugman and they would both be nodding their heads at the others wisdom and acumen.

Your guys are still at a loss as to why so many ignorant Americans did not vote for the candidate that they, the Harvard elite, felt represented their best socialistic interests and that its obviously a matter of intelligence and lack of proper education. Meanwhile, President Trump is still marching on, reversing the errors of his predecessor and getting America back on the rails.

I hope that President Pence will be able to make the painful, but necessary, cuts to the bloated US government and largess system to reverse the poor policies of the last 50 years and to truly make America great once more.

Re: 2020 Landslide

The only way Pence gets in is if Trump quits, or dies.  And if Trump quits, it's going to be questionable, because of what he knew, and when he knew it.

There is a mess brewing, no doubt about that.  But Pence would never win on his own merits.   But I sure hope you guys put him up there on the podium, when you get a chance....

It's not hard to notice, that Pence is seldom seen, and never heard from.  Looks to me, like he's trying to distance himself as far as he can from Trump....but it won't work.  What infects the Trumps administration, infects him....and it is no little thing...

Re: 2020 Landslide

I have no idea and neither do you who any one person actually supported for President. It would be safe to say that someone did support one bad choice over the other, but there never was much of any direct support from the middle or “liberal intelligentsia”, if you will for Ms. Clinton.

She was nominated out of long brewed bad Democrat habits. The last gasp of an old guard that saw nominations as more of a competitive event than a function.  And if you have been paying attention there is barely a speck of opining going on currently or since the election posing “if only Hillary had won”.  It’s the Trump culture that is keeping the campaign alive.

What has to give actual conservatives, even more than the Trumpism capturing “conservatives” the heeebie geebies is the prospect of a sizable mass of non-Clinton Democrats gaining influence and legislative power.

Some here have spoken about old white men RWingers dying off as each election comes along. Along with them will be the old Chardonnay guzzling white liberal women.  Who comes after in each camp?
