The coronavirus is crossing America’s Southern Border along with illegal immigrants who are then filtering into communities across Texas and the rest of the nation, according to information from Texas communities.

Bill Reagan, who runs the Loaves and Fishes food bank and shelter in Harlingen, Texas, said 25 percent of one recent group of migrants tested positive for the virus, according to The Washington Times.

That’s even higher than Brownsville, which reported that 6.3 percent of migrants tested there tested positive, Felipe Romero, Brownsville’s communications and marketing director, said, according to NBC. In Cameron County, the positivity rate was 13.8 percent, Romero said.

In the past 7  days, Texas has tested an average of 59,000 people of which 15% were positive for 7-day total of 62,000 new cases of coronavirus.  If the 10,ooo migrants tested 6.3% that's 630 positives or 1% more. Given Texas' deplorably low rate of testing new cases in Texas are easily twice what's measured so the migrants are at 0.5% of the problem.

  It's entirely disingenuous of Abbott to complain about migrants and at the same time drop the mask mandate and other precautions.

As I said the blood is directly on * hands. Why would he allow anyone covid positive to enter this nation? And every variant strain in the world is walking directly into the US across our southern border. They are crammed into cages, super spread among themselves and then released to super spread to the entire US population. There is no way to spin or deny what is happening. They are allowed to roam free yet our schools are locked down.
