44% vote to defund police in Minneapolis

44% vote to defund police in Minneapolis....must be the % of anteefer & blm rioters, burners, looters & shooters.

Fortunately for minneapolis there were 56% that have a little sense remaining.

Never mind just defunding the Minneapolis police department.

All those who wish to live in a city where more than 4 out of 10 of your fellow citizens do not feel a particular need for any police force, please raise your hand!

44% wanting to "defund the police" isn`t good news, 5 years ago that wouldn`t have even made it on the ballot.  More "Illhan Omars" will be imported into the community and they`ll eventually get what they want.   Just like communities voting on a new, unaffordable school every 2 years until it eventually passes.

BA, I don't know how much more importation of breeding stock will take place up in the new Somalian province, but I would wager that the stock already in place will be fully capable of filling up ever crevice and crack there.

Went to Armstrong yesterday for the fall consignment auction. Equipment sold pretty good, for the clean items. A five shank DMI ripper brought $6750, I wanted it for $5000. A 2188 with very sharp augers brought $24000, by the time you replace the augers you have a $30000 combine with nearly 5000 hrs on it. Ouch. I bought a comparable one last year, in better condition and with more options, for $16000 at Benson MN.

Value of the day was an antique complete F-12 farmall, on steel all the way around, with a nice trailer for $750. If I had a modern shop, and time, I would have been all in on it. The trailer was worth more than $750 alone, and the tractor has to be worth a couple grand.

The Howells seem like decent guys....very helpful before and after the auction. I had not been to a sale there for 20 years, but they still had me in their system. Good people at the auction, even if the crowd was sparse. Lot of online activity. I like the Iowa drawl too from the people that come up from a little further south.

You went to Armstrong?  I was going to go, but too busy tiling and a friend of mine is still picking corn.

Apparently the anti police pro crime candidates in Seattle lost.

I`m wavering between letting things hit rock bottom and getting small glimmers of hope, like last night.  Is this back & forth simply a result of "good people doing nothing" and just before we go over the cliff the good people show up at the polls and pull us back from the abyss?
