Re: 9/11 as Government Blowback Day
What about 7 WTC? Are you talking about the tenants in 2001? Or what?

Re: 9/11 as Government Blowback Day
Hi Bart,
No, there have been some questions about tenants but I prefer not to go into the whole cloth conspiracy realm (not that i'm saying you do).
It is simply that there are numerous technical questions about the events of the day but the collapse of WTC 7 remains the most utterly inexplicable. The idea that a steel frame skyscraper would collapse directly into its own footprint at a half second from free fall speed from some fires and some external damage is a hard one to explain. The NIST report that came out in 2008 attempts to but you can do your own reading on that.
Nobody knows what a steel framed skyscraper collapsing from fire would look like because there has never been one. However the issues of speed (conservation of energy), synchronicity etc. would strongly indicate it wouldn't t like that. If a massive, massive amount of damage was done, then you might expect failure in single points, twisitng, parts sliding off, tipping over from some hgher point etc.
And of course Larry Silverstein, the leaseholder, told PBS in 2002 that the NYPD came to him on the afternoon of 9/11 and told him they needed to pull the building.
Perhaps they did, maybe Larry couldn't have gotten the insurance by admitting to those circumstances, I don't presume to know.
But thinking further, if NYPD is so supernaturally competent that they could perform the highly technical work involved in preparing a building for a perfect controlled drop- in a few hours- in the middle of the fires and the chaos of that day- then they're pretty good.
Anyway, no mention of that in the official reports.
Simply not nearly enough explanation of the events of that day for policy to have been driven by it.
Best, h

Re: 9/11 as Government Blowback Day
I didn't know anything about that at all. And, no, I am not a conspiracy nut or any other kind for that matter. I took it at face value and figured that obl did it and that was that.

Re: 9/11 as Government Blowback Day
Sorry to bring you there.
I don't know what happened but know for sure that the official story is a fable.
Don't blame you if you're not interested but if you are, there has been a lot of momentum at Patriots for 9-11 Truth web in recent years. Lots of engineers, pilots, witnesses there.

Re: 9/11 as Government Blowback Day
There is more than policy at stake here....there is an ugliness about here like we've not seen since Reconstruction
Bit dramatic aren't we? Worse than pacifying the western tribes, the yellow scare, incarcerating Japanese Americans, segregation?

That's a Hearst rag- good for business though, probably in more ways than one.
There are a couple thousand professionals here who disagree

"Our mission, simply put, is to save the United States of America and to defend it from all enemies, foreign and domestic. To that end, we seek to restore true values, integrity, honesty, and leadership in government at the local, state and national level. We are opposed to tyranny and corruption. We seek to move this Nation from a state of perpetual warfare to a state of prolonged peace and prosperity.
In pursuit of our mission we have initially chosen to present evidence exposing the deception and lies that many in the military/intelligence/industrial/media establishment have been telling Americans and the world since September 11, 2001 concerning the events of that tragic day. Our mission includes seeking, discovering, and presenting evidence revealing the truth about the events of 9/11."

Yeah...I think so ...because we all are witnessing it real time and the repsonse is disappointing. Most of all of that became known after the fact, and was in general a matter of policy hammered out behind closed doors.
Only those who are asleep on their feet aren't faced with the issues.
