I think McCain would have beaten Hillary. Arguable anyway, even with Palin.

You are delusional. Mccains best years were in Vietnam. Plain is an opportunist and the media sank her at her last folly. She can't be serious again.

Re: A cautionary tale

I'll reiterate, I think if McCain had run against Hillary and had selected a normal person for VP, he would have won.

Even if the money guys are all saying maybe to Jebbie while they watch which way the wind is blowing it is nothing like the huge early war chest that GWB amassed in '00.  Everybody had pretty well capitualted before it started, owing to that. They just trotted McCain out for some token opposition later in the game because you get more coverage that way.

Re: A cautionary tale

It`s fun wondering, but it`s actually like saying "Jordan" or "Kobe".   🙂

Those of us in the vast rightwing conspiracy don`t like McCain, though of him as a RINO.  Sarah was the only reason many of us voted.  Even then, many of us wanted to teach the Republicans a "lesson"  well look how that turned out.  $8 Trillion more later and the "Kenyan, dog eating, socialist, Muslim, terrorist crazy man" is 50% in the polls...the country now loves homosexual marriages and socialized medicine.....Yeah, they really taught the Repulicans a "lesson" alright...this country can`t afford anymore of those kinds of lessons   🙂

Re: A cautionary tale

McCain was a nothing and that result proved it. Jeb will not make the final 4 cut no matter how much money he has amassed. He just doesn't have it. The dynasty of father to son presidencies must stop after witnessing the brain dead GWB destroying your country. That is sad. I don't know which one of his parents was the smart one but when they crossed genetics it certainly diluted what was left.

Re: A cautionary tale

I'd say if its a jeb v hill election the only two people who vote is gto and ollie. Congress will have to break the tie.

Sam, there are a lot more Dales and Ollies out there, and if it comes down to Jethro vs the Hildebeast, most will take a stand against the bigger evil that they perceive.
