A couple pretty good days

while Sundays and mondays tend to be light on reporting, two successive days of under 1k deaths and 20k new cases.

Probably to be expected as the Tri-State cluster winds down.

It’ll be 3 to 4 weeks before we know what happens in the rest of the country. 1 patient doesn’t generally give it to 100- he gives it to 1 or 2, who do the same etc.

Nobody knows for sure what will happen including people who Just Know Everything from Fake Sources.

Don’t know about the seasonal effect either.

Moderate social distancing will continue. Hopefully knuckleheads won’t screw it up.

They already are “screwing it up” SD - people really are stupid.  Like Trump not having to wear a mask, for many, the virus is done.  We’ll see...soon enough.

But not “soon enough” to stop the looming death count.

It is rugged individualism.

Thats actually just a variant of consumer bee created by the NRA.

What I’m hoping for doesn’t matter any more than hoping for no more mass shootings.

Or thinking and praying.

Re: A couple pretty good days

There will be a lot of social distancing and masks etc.

Best guess is an R0 right around 1. Which will be particularly disorienting in this propaganda rich environment.

But still enough that a robust economic recovery won’t happen other than a fierce partial recovery from an historic collapse.

That will also be disorienting as it will be spun every way to Sunday.

Yes!!!!!! We’ll have 15 pct. growth forever!!!!!
