A rejuvination of the "silent majority"?
Rembering that phrase from back in the Nixon days. Politics played strong off of it for years.
Maybe we've got one of those again and the few that voted most recently and those whom they elected are taking improper signals from the results.

I believe most those who did vote are still voting for change, those who voted for change in "08 but lost faith and did not vote because they didn't have the option to vote for 'none of the above', they are still looking for change. The neocons lost as well as Obbummerites. The political machine is holding it's breath and sweating bullets right now.

Yup...and sweating bullets for sure, sensing that this thing is going to turn hard, one way or the other.
If the prosecutions of the architects of the crashed system start taking place we've got a chance. If they keep hammering out agreementsimmunity deals with them as they seem to be doing now, it's over. Nothing ever the same ....for over 90% of the people.
When it didn't have to.

Re: A rejuvination of the "silent majority"?
The polls are very interesting. Or the interpretation of the polls is interesting. And polls are basically useless because they are so manipulated.
I think the American public answers polls the same way they vote. By reacting to catch words and phrases and not really thinking.
I think the silent majority is and always has been what the American public actually thinks when they take the time to think. Not listening to the spin, not reacting to hatred and prejudice.
It really is sad that this last election, was like a poll. Totally skewed by spin, catch phrases, and manipulation, because the public didn't take the time to think. and it's going to cost most of us dearly.

3 trillion in debt in 2 years. Hope and change is a catch phrase that has already cost us dearly. The thing about elections is they are the only poll that count.

Government has no money. The only way they get it is to take it from some one who EARNED it. The repubs doesn't want the government to transfer more than is necessary from one group to another.
