Manchin is quite literally the only Dem in the world who could be elected to statewide office in WV. So you take what you can get while he rakes in some bucks, presumably to retire to a private island with his daughter, the Epi-Pen Princess who's waiting for him there, having dropped in a a golden parachute after she sold WV down the river.
BTW, the $3.5T infrastructure reconciliation package polls quite well in WV, but go figger about those folks.
