African dung beetles

introduced as part of the effort to control hornflies in the US South back in the '60s.

Pretty nifty little critters- cleaned meadow muffins off pastures pretty efficiently- disrupting the hornfly life cycle.

Now essentially extirpated with the widespread use of Ivermectin.

But might be able to reduce the mosquito population if you pee in your back yard.

Re: African dung beetles

broadcasting as widely as possible is good but run backwards into the wind so you don't get any on you.

Re: African dung beetles

If you've never gotten ivermectin on you I'm guessing you've never been near a cow.

Re: African dung beetles

Nothing like sticking yourself with Micotil, for sure.

Still something to take reasonable precautions with, like pesticides.

More horse paste hooey. Of course you don't expect some one too stupid to know the difference between a boy and a girl to know anything about medicine. Next you will report that ivermectrin cause gender to become binary.
