Re: America....a Country that has Faith

No. You are wrong. We say everything came from God. Science tells us it is impossible for everything to come from nothing.

And the thing to take from that story is you can talk to the scientist and he will talk back to you , you can see the scientist and you can shake hands with he scientist so you KNOW there is a scientist.

Now this 'god' thing in the story is just that, a story.

We say everything came from God. Science tells us it is impossible for everything to come from nothing.

And if you think about it you answer your own question.

And note how science says things do not come from nothing.

We are a country of many faiths! Get over it! Our Constitution gives us all the right to have faith in any religion or lack thereof that we wish!!!

That is what is lacking, any proof.

Only thing creationists have is a belief.

And no marty, looking around you lets you see things that are living or geological developments and are certainly no proof of any 'creating'.

Science tells us it had to be created because it is impossible to come from nothing. We have science.

Re: America....a Country that has Faith

IMO, one does not need proof to have faith. I believe in God, Jesus and the basics of Christianity. People who require proof are likely atheists or agnostics. I do not feel threatened by people of other faiths, atheists or agnostics or even darker religions. Why should I? Most politicians these days who make a hoopla out of religion, Christianity specifically, are just trying to get votes and rally a base. As our Constitution is set up, we shouldn't really have to worry about religion unless a religion is under threat by law or policy, and then, that is unconstitutional. Our government by design can work perfectly without holding up any religion as a model. If our government appoints a religion, that's unconstitutional - any religion. As long as we stick to being a constitutional nation, the rest is just fretting and complaining and rallying of the voters to bring about other things, more in their real interest. Don't be fools - follow our constitution and in private, public and at your church, practice your faith to the degree that satisfies your ideals.
