Can he legally make that info public?

Re: Where did Aveneti get the info?

(The conventional wisdom is saying that it was available to him through the discovery process in an ongoing lawsuit.)

Conventional wisdom?

Who or whom's theory or belief are you getting that from? The ambulance chaser guy? The SNN?

Re: An ego move

They're probably thinking of what happened to Gadaffi after he turned over his nukes. Some Canadian general order a strike that killed his grandkids. Then Obama sent Hillary in to make sure Gadaffi himself was killed.

Re: An ego move

The Iran deal was a bad one from the beginning, it has nothing to do with any deal coming out of North Korea.   As I understand it North Korea wants a promise that we wouldn`t attack....THAT was NEVER in the cards in the first place!  The only way the US would attack North Korea is if they attacked first, which would be suicide on their part and everyone knows it.   Besides didn`t GTO have some cockamamy story the other day about a mountain falling on NK`s nuclear weapons?

But here`s the real story, China does NOT want North Korea to mess with nuclear weapons at all because the winds would blow that crap right on China`s mainland.  Well....all it took was for finally a US leader to stand up to North Korea and China, behind the scenes told them to "knock it off!".   No matter what you Libs think, Trump will probably deserve a Nobel Peace Prize after this.

Re: An ego move

But BA,  why would anyone trust a deal signed by your dear leader?

He just tears up deals and throws then away when he takes a notion to do so.

Why would he or the next leader of your country not do the same with a deal with N Korea a year or two after signing it?

That is the situation at the moment. The USA can not be trusted to adhere to a deal just look at the TPP and now the Iran deal and NAFTA...........

Re: An ego move

Because in what parallel universe would the US attack North Korea?  Kim says he will stop nukes and act decent if the US promises to not attack him, well anyone with eyes to see knows that is never going to happen.   The "dear leader Obama" overthrew Libya and the harmless Gadafi, dear leader Obama wasn`t exactly Mr Peace, he still holds the record for drone kills.

IMO the satellite North Korea has lost it`s usefulness to China and rapidly becoming a saddle burr.   If we ever mixed it up with North Korea, China would be affected and involved, so as long as Kim behaves he has nothing to fear.  Iran has a nuclear program and outside of Russia, no "big brother" so any "deal" made was as subject to change just as the US Constitution is in a Liberal`s eyes.

Re: Where did Aveneti get the info?

Two problems I can see with that line of thinking.

A) As I understand it Stormy is suing (via Aveneti) because she wants out of the non-disclosure,  I can't see how records of Cohen's transactions with Novartis and att would be available in discovery.  How could they pertinent to stormy wanting out of her non-disclosure?

And

B) Apparently a couple of the transactions disclosed by Aveneti were not of the Michael Cohen in question, but two completely different Michael Cohens.   (fairly common name)  Aveneti could not have gotten those records from the Cohen in question.    And really probably not from Mueller's group as they would not have been that stupid.

So, Aveneti probably broke the law in even having access to that information much less revealing it publicly and he now has a couple Michael Cohens who have grounds to sue him.
