Another liberal calls for murder of conservatives

Film maker Terry Gilliam. Sounds a lot like Bobby Kennedy. Another 60s leftist who has now become the "man" they claimed they so desperately despised. Communist tyrants every one of them. Isn't this what Bruce and other liberal are always accusing thumpers of doing?

GILLIAM: Yeah, I know. It’s about how you are inside and there will always be those people and there will be all the others that worry about every single thing we do that might cause damage to the planet. I’m somewhere leaning more towards the damage to the planet side, much more towards that. This is the problem, it’s like if you happen to be a Presbyterian, which I was as a kid, there’s a thing called predestination that creates the same situation. You’re going to heaven or hell no matter what you do in life, because you’ve been predestined, so your job is to lead an ethical, moral, and hardworking life while you’re here, but you’re going to go to hell anyway [laughs]. But it’s what you do while you’re here, and what you should be doing is living hopefully and trying to balance your needs and the needs of the world and the planet, and don’t **bleep** the place up. So that’s the problem with the idea that it’s all going to go to rat **bleep** eventually so let’s make as much money as possible. Those people will always be a fungus and if I was running the country I would take them out and shoot them frankly, but that’s something else [laughs].

He sounds a lot like those here that are constantly railing against Christianity, totally ignorant about the basic realities of the subject

Re: Another liberal calls for murder of conservatives

What is remarkable is that liberals, especially the older, financially comfortable liberals do not have a "self preservation gene" with that abnormality they will certainly be the last of their kind.   The millenials that have been raised in a cage and don`t have 2 pennies to rub together, I can understand why they buy into this hyper-socialism, but when you got 600 acres, a Silverado and take 7 Caribbean cruises a year (how many damned buffets and friggen Dolphins can you watch anyway?) you got alot to lose.

I know I know I know, they will say "we care about other people" and they might say it without smiling....but give up their Silverado to drag 10 more hardup Mexicans in?  Maybe that is their trouble they haven`t been asked to contribute their fair share to their do-gooderism.  But when that day comes, they will change their tune.

Guys, read this

Wikipedia history of the black muslim movement in America, how they are aligned with Middle eastern tyrants, and what the end goals are. Hint....these rich white progressives ain't part of the endgame.

Re: Guys, read this

That is the frustrating part Red, these older liberals did quite well for themselves...some probably did gravitate to the Republican party, but a fair number are stuck in the 60`s.  I know some probably figure "well I`m 70 and all the hard living and LSD and stuff I did, I`ll be lucky to last another 10 years and thing`ll hold together that long...then it ain`t my problem".   Well fine, but many have kids and grandkids that I assume they love?  Why would they want their children to be handed a Mad Max beyond Thunder Dome world?

Re: Guys, read this

Well, BA, if they were thinkers they obviously would not line up to be progressive liberals. Its like a rabid packer fan that historically roots for the green no matter what, and hates the vikings. Bad habits are hard to break and tribal loyalties run deep.

I was pretty much apolitical in college....didn't think Jimmy Carter was all bad but doubt if I voted for him if I even voted. I liked Reagan and his sunny optimism, even if it was part of an acting role, and really liked the lower income tax rates where no matter how much you would make, you would keep more than the govt would get. I might have had early years where I didn't make anything, but I knew that eventually , if I kept working hard, I would, and I wanted to get ahead.

These progressives are invariable the ne'er do well types...they hate the country club republican set with a passion, and hate anyone that has acqured wealth through hard work and thrift. They do revere the Daytons, Kennedys, etal that live off the sweat of an ancestors brow and reinforce their views that the pie is only so big, and we just need to slice it fairly, even as their heros use every gimmick in the book to keep their wealth and NOT share it.

Like my cousin says "it's all pretty hopeless" . When the European Christians were the main ingredient in the melting pot, things seemed to work and even the worst of the Democrats was pretty much a main stream RINO of today. BUt now its fruitloop open season and the Keith Ellisons are going to keep on multiplying until swearing into office on a Koran instead of a Bible will be the law of the land.

And how women think that the liberals are on their side is befuddling too. The republicans should just mandate free birth control, free abortions on demand, and let God sort that out later and keep the economic house in order. Whatever it takes to stop America from becoming another Islamic caliphate.

And as far as these liberals caring about their kids and grandkids, most of them don't. Shfity might be the exception, in accumulating a few hundred acres of dirt, but maybe his wife had  a lot to do with that. People don't always tell the whole story, and we have not heard from Mrs. Shifty, have we?

Oh yes you have. Mrs. kraft was every bit involved in our prosperity. She  worked in the hog barns. She drove the combine and hauled corn and beans. And she helped in business decisions and she went through good times and bad.

She deserves everything she has. She reared kids and some grandkids, took care of her failing father and took her failing mother into our home for 5 years or more and cared for her when she should have been in a nursing home. She aint a saint but she is one helluva good wife and mother. We don't own once acre that we didn't pay for, not one.

Re: Guys, read this

The trouble with the righties here and especially BA is that they don't understand that those of us on the left actually have the good for all in mind without wanting to make a dollar on every thought and deed.

They can't fathom that decent people dont think just like they do and just want to screw everyone as they do.

Climate change ?  It must be a plot to raise taxes !

It's all about projection and their ideas and opinions really aren't relevent in anything of a serious nature.
