I'm no expert on antitrust laws but I sure have to wonder about this.
Pfizer Pushes to Keep Lipitor Profits Flowing
One news report I read talked about Pfizer paying pharmacies to mail to their Lipitor patients offers for the $4 copay card and to counsel patients that Lipitor is better then generics at lowering bad cholesterol and preventing heart attacks and strokes.
If our Dept. of Justice saw fit to go after Microsoft then why not go after Big Pharma??? Maybe the result of a secret deal to help pass health care reform?
