The media and candidate coverage.. Bill Maher as a presidential candidate or Rush limbaugh for that matter. Both are talented in their own way. Serious candidates such as Hillary jeb or marco cannot get air time, at least not in the quantity that Bill or rush might get. Why because they might be more entertaining than the more serious candidates. Networks are not fools in that they see what candidates raise their viewership ratings and ratings mean money in their pockets. More airtime is allocated to the best ratings boosters.
In reality. The Trumpster is getting tons of airtime in excess of what the other candidates are getting. Are we electing a government leader or an entertainer? Can't you see how tv ratings are impacting the political dialogue. Thus worthy candidates of both parties are not able get exposure that they deserve. And the public is not getting the various points of view.
It's shameful that the public is being denied worthy information so that media can profit from the entertainment value.
Now you see why some are against campaign finance reform. The candidates can use campaign cash to buy their own air time. Soros can buy air time to tell use what kind of a clown Trump is.
I was under the impression that the congressional budget office was to know the facts when it comes to government money. Maybe that has now changed and Oprah is the new go to person for those numbers.
