Re: Are you in "the 16%"?
It wouldn’t have the ring to it that a 3rd headed up by Ross Perot or George Wallace or John Anderson might have but you could maybe try to start up the “This One Guy I Ran Into” Party.

Re: The question is, "a complete disaster for whom"?
If you have a way to watch ABC Sunday Show, it`s interesting. Chris Christie got agreement from the liberals that Democrats only support Biden because they feel he is the only one that can beat Trump. If Trump doesn`t run, they will dump Biden. Politics aside, Biden just isn`t a likeable person to be honest about it and what Chris said was profound .."Biden did not win, Trump lost" that is a BIG difference there, let that sink in. (I`m not going down the rabbit hole of rigged 2020 election... because those same people will complain that "the 2024 election was rigged!" and there`s a pattern developing) .
I like the electoral college even if Trump is ahead in the popular poll and Minneapolis dictates the direction of the ENTIRE state of Minnesota, other states politically ran similarly. I think the only reason Biden is pretending to want to run for re election is to stay out of Lameduckdom as long as possible. In a way if Trump doesn`t want to run (deep down) he is helping the real Republican nominee in keeping Biden upfront and any possible electable Dem candidate out of the ring.

Re: The question is, "a complete disaster for whom"?
Just to add. Trump was on with Hugh Hewitt and Hugh asked him "will you support the Republican nominee if it isn`t you?" Trump said "maybe" . The Republican debates are going to require a pledge to support eventual nominee to participate, which lead to speculation that Trump doesn`t really want to debate?

You like the electoral college.
What could possibly change the EC electoral college in the R favor?
Running Desansctimonious and you could easily lose states that weren’t that close last time.
Would you seriously bet more than a nickel that he could hold Iowa?

Re: The question is, "a complete disaster for whom"?
I will deliver Iowa for DeSantis! (like I have that power 😀 ) yes, Iowa will support DeSantis. Lies were told about the covid shot, masks and shutdowns, I don`t see how DeSantis` policies would be a negative unless you think people are dumb enough to keep putting quarters in a vending machine that is out of order.. (some people are that dumb, but Democrats already have their votes locked up)

I would imagine a state that is mostly white and righteous would vote for David Duke against any democrat candidate so you do have the power.

Re: I can easily see ...
... trump running as a third party spoiler candidate.
Oh, by the way, the Koch bros say they're going to put a lot of money behind defeating trump in the primaries. The fastest way to pick up some real campaign money is to run against trump.
