Re: As a Republican

Exactly what I was saying, before it got spun. I know of no responsible adult who gets minimum. They all get more. The one guy who does get minimum, doesn't do enough work to even justify that, it is more a pity hiring than anything.

I don't rent my farm out. I hire a custom operator to do the field work. Plus if I have a highly profitable year, I do not raise his pay level. I don't beleive in trickle down either.

. Isn't that the same business model as Wal-Mart?

Re: As a Republican

No !  Because i am not hiring labor. I am paying a businessman for services rendered.

Re: As a Republican

Does walmart employees furnish equipment fuel to get the job done.  There is quite a difference between machine hire and hired labor.

I don't pay wages. I pay for machine hire.

Re: As a Republican

At my current location and circumstance I know not what anyone gets in compensation for their labor. I would argue in no one works for minimum wage then why the opposition to increasing it?

The truth of the matter ios that most of you want employers deciding the wage rate and people that are sorely needing income will be forced to accept it. And republicans are quite comfortable with that.

That is exactly why those hispanics and menial laborers will not vote republican. But then most of you think business profits is more important than people. I rest my case!

Mr. Kraft, if you want to be a charitable person you will advertise for machine hire and then award it to the highest bidder. Anything less is looking for slave labor.

Re: the truth of the matter is

Republicans favor employers deciding the compensation rate. They want a poor lower class that will be forced by circumstances to accept a meager paycheck that a businessman offers. That is why they hate unemployment benefits and minimum wage. They still want labor to be cheap and the want them forced to accept. You still beleive in the concept of supply demand even if people are starving.

Capitalism is not mentioned in the constitution, yet you favor it with a religious fervor. I don't know how christians can favor a very unchristian like business behavior. You favor the strong against the weak and obviously support business over labor always.

If you removed labor laws and dumped those socialist enemployment checks, do you think we would have more or less impoverished people in America? Do you think that would be good for america?
